Our House System

The GRMS House System provides an opportunity for students and faculty to interact across grade levels. In doing so, the school community benefits from positive peer pressure, increased school spirit, and healthy competition.

As 6th graders, students are sorted amongst three houses. Students remain in these houses until they graduate from GRMS. Throughout the year, these three houses compete against each other for points which have the potential to earn their house various rewards. Houses meet once a week on Wednesdays during Activities Period.

Actividades.

Education Through Experience

Camp MO + Extended School Year

GRMS is committed to providing education through travel and experience, offering our students outstanding opportunities and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

> CAMP MO RANCH:

All 8th grade students have the opportunity to travel for a multi-day retreat to MO-Ranch, nestled on 500 acres along the spring-fed Guadalupe River in the heart of the beautiful Hill Country in Hunt, Texas. Campers have a one-of-a-kind experience with an abundance of land and water recreation, sports activities, hiking trails, high and low ropes courses, and team building exercises.

> EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR, SUMMER SCHOLARS:

Our newest program extends the school year for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students for two-weeks in the summer. Hosted at the Villa Maria Language Institute at Incarnate Word Academy, our GRMS students take a week of field trips, choose from exciting electives, and sharpen core subject skills in a fun and creative learning environment.

> CAMP MARIST:

GRMS students are invited to apply with the school for one of ten annual summer scholarships provided by Camp Marist on Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire. This two-week adventure is an engaging, exciting and educational experience for campers, structured around their individual interests from sports to swimming, dancing, nature and so much more. GRMS has been sending students to Camp Marist since 2002 for the experience of a lifetime.

experiencia inolvidable.
