GRMS Names Dr. Virginia Miller as Principal

Guadalupe Regional Middle School (GRMS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Virginia Miller has joined the GRMS family and will be serving as the school's principal. Miller was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Upon her marriage in 1989, she moved to Los Fresnos where she currently resides. Miller graduated with her Bachelors of Science, Masters of Interdisciplinary Studies, and Education Administration Mid-Management from UTRGV (Pan American) and her Doctorate of Education, Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston in 2005. She is certified in Biology, English, Physical Education, Special Education, and has a Superintendent certificate. She retired from public schools aft

Graduates Become a Vital Part of Summer Scholars Academy

Graduates of Guadalupe Regional Middle School (GRMS) are becoming a vital part of the institution's annual Summer Scholars Program. One of the 3 main subjects was taught this summer by Angela Smith '11, one of the very first graduates of GRMS who is now a special education teacher working on her Masters degree. She was part of a wonderful team that included two veteran teachers, Estella Lopez and Abelina Montanaro. Operation Lodestar: Free Resources for Families

Here is a great resource for families: Cameron County Public Health would like to inform everyone that OPERATION LONE STAR (OLS) 2018 is coming to South Texas. This week-long event is being held Monday, July 23rd through Friday, July 27th, 2018 in Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, and Webb counties. As many of you may be aware, OLS is a week-long emergency preparedness exercise that brings together hundreds of volunteers to offer FREE medical services to the community. It is a collaborative effort from local, county, regional, and state agencies, including Texas Military Forces.
