GRMS History + Mission
Guadalupe Regional Middle School (GRMS) is an accredited, all scholarship, private Catholic school for boys and girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, awarding full scholarships to qualifying students who desire but cannot afford a quality Catholic education.
Since 2002, GRMS has had two goals for its students-
COLLEGE & HEAVEN. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to close the opportunity and achievement gaps for students with the support of
individual donors, foundations, and partners of GRMS.
Mission
Our Mission: Guadalupe Regional Middle School provides an all scholarship, quality Catholic education to boys and girls in grades six, seven, and eight whose families desire but cannot afford a Catholic education. This academically challenging school teaches its students how to live the gospel values of love, justice, self-discipline and respect for others with the goal that they become the future leaders of the Brownsville civic and church communities.
Philosophy
Our Philosophy: The philosophy of GRMS draws upon the traditions of our three religious congregations, embodied by the following four pillars:
-
Religious Formation
-
College Preparatory Instruction
-
Educating The Whole Person
-
The Christian Learning Community
